Kickstarter Tuesday

Welcome back for another instalment of Kickstarter Tuesday with my top 5 picks of the week;

Vidar by Dean Razavi
"A despairing RPG-Puzzler set in a town on the brink. Random storytelling. Random puzzles. Constant loss."

Funding Goal - $18,000 by Friday 27th February

My Opinion - This looks like a really interesting and unique take on the RPG and one that I will be backing.  Check out the demo to find out for yourself.

Lacuna by Harry Roper
"Colonise the universe and rebuild the lost colonies. Destroy your opposition or try out other methods..only you can decide."

Funding Goal - £6,600 by Wednesday 11th February

My Opinion - a very interesting looking 2D Sci-fi game.  Looks like it has a lot of features already with the Kickstarter campaign to make it even better.

Drift Stage by Super Systems Softworks
"Drift Stage is a modern take on the classic arcade racer."

Funding Goal - already funded

My Opinion - an old-school looking arcade racer but done with a lot of style.  Check out the Kickstarer page for lots of information, as well as the demo which lets you try a time trial.

Astonia Reborn by Trent Wilson
"Astonia Reborn is a fantasy MMORPG with a character building system unlike any other, full of pvp, pve, 2.5D isometric. Simply Unique."

Funding Goal - $2,000 (New Zealand) by Friday 6th February

My Opinion - a small MMORPG that is already live but looking for funding to improve the game.  Reminds me of the old Ultima games, but in a very good way.

No Turning Back by ColloseusX
"No Turning Back is a Pixel Art Action-Adventure Roguelike Video Game"

Funding Goal - £5,000 by Wednesday 11th February

My Opinion - an old-school rogue like game that plays really well already on the demo.  If you are a fan of the genre, go check it out.
