Kickstarter Tuesday

Hi all and welcome to my first edition of Kickstarter Tuesday.  Below are a selection of what I think are the top 5 best Kickstarter projects from this week.

Into the Stars by Fugitive Games

"A single player open world journey through a distant solar system. Scavenge resources, manage your ship and lead your crew in Combat."

Funding Goal - $85,000 by Wednesday 4th February

My Opinion - This game looks great and reminds me of the old classic Freelancer, only much better!  Probably my favourite game so far this week.  Check out the Kickstarter page for lots of information and seriously consider backing this project.

Overture by Black Shell Media LLC

"Overture is a 16-bit action roguelike. Conquer randomly generated dungeons with 24 classes, an array of weapons and unlimited upgrades!"

Funding Goal - $3,000 by Saturday 31st January

My Opinion - Looks like a lot of fun, the creators have good form and there is a really good demo available on their website.  Worth funding!

Isles of Eventide by Leanne Froc
"Isles of Eventide is an Animal Based MMORPG where players can choose and customize their character and start their fight for survival."

Funding Goal - $50,000 (Canadian) by Sunday 8th February

My Opinion - Looks very interesting and has a a pretty unique setting.  The Kickstarter page has a lot of information on it and it looks well thought through.

Identity by Asylum Entertainment, Inc

"Identity is a modern-day open-world MMORPG with complete freedom and a focus on player interaction, from Asylum Entertainment."

Funding Goal - $150,000 (Canadian) by Wednesday February 4th

My Opinion - A very ambitious project but definitely worth having a look at. Loads of information available on the Kickstarter page.

Musket Smoke II by Woodie Dovich

"Renaissance Warfare has never been this much fun! Fight the English Civil War or Battle Online!"

Funding Goal - $9,000 (Canadian) by Wednesday 11th February

My Opinion - something different to finish with with an old-school tactical combat game.  The first Musket Smoke (available on the app store) was good fun and this looks even better.  Worth a look.
