Greenlight February Recap

It seems we picked a lot of winners on Greenlight in February, with 17 out of our 20 choices currently being greenlit - here they are:

D.G.U
D.G.U. is a 3rd person 3D adventure/puzzle game where the player plays as a student of the Death God University studying to become a death god assistant. Set in a wacky world, DGU takes its inspiration in the old point and click adventure / puzzle games like Day of the Tentacle or Sam & Max or Monkey Island. In order to get graduated and pass to the next class, the player needs to kill collect souls of targets assigned to him by his teachers. To do this, the player needs to gather items and craft deadly traps, decoy devices and/or use the environment to his advantage! There is only one rule! It must look like an accident.

Cards and Castles
Cards and Castles is a combination Collectible Card and Strategy Game pitting your favorite fantasy factions against each other: Ninjas, Warlocks, Pirates, Crusaders, and Vikings! Build a custom deck of cards from multiple factions, then play them on the battlefield to create fully controllable units, area spells, and more! There’s an endless variety of combinations to use in battle. Collect cards to create more strategies and combos to dominate your opponents and destroy their castle!

The Lost Battalion: All Out Warfare
A 2d Platformer set in th Western Fronts of World War 1. The Lost Battalion has a very unique Art style and is based on the real life events of "The Lost Battalion". Countless men were killed or captured but some held out and were rescued. You can be a Hero on the Western Front. Good luck.

The Song of Seven
Song of Seven spans an entire world and tells a story of forgotten celestial siblings, isolated villages, seafaring pirates, ghosts, monsters, leaders, artists, mystics, lovers, dancers, inventors, and the power of connections. Its game play hearkens back to old school point and click, inventory-based adventure/puzzle games - but with the use of a controller or keyboard. Each of the seven chapters are meant to be the video game version of a short story, a quick, enjoyable digital romp that can be played in a dedicated day or a lazy weekend. When taken together, the chapters assemble a narrative that roams across a world of distinct cultures, intriguing lore, and a story that can be enjoyed and appreciated by all ages.

Nightside

Infernax
Infernax is our tribute to the NES era. Basically, if we had been devs back then, this is the gameBerzerk Studio would have came up with. We did our best to capture everything that made games captivating, challenging and sometimes frustrating in that era and give it the Berzerk treatment.

Home is Where One Starts is a short, first-person exploration game in the same vein as Dear Esther or Gone Home. It’s a story about childhood, memory, and hope. Exploring the lonely countryside reveals clues and vignettes which can help the player answer the question of where home is—and how one can get there.
